Christine Vu has spent the last eleven years developing a deep understanding of complex litigation. She spent eight years at the largest biotech in the world – Amgen Inc. – where she worked as a paralegal in both the Intellectual Property Group as well as the Corporate and Employment Litigation Group.
As a paralegal at Amgen, she assisted in the management and work up of cases involving products liability, antitrust, ERISA stock drop, RICO, Intellectual Property, and the largest federal securities class action the company ever faced. She assisted in all aspects of discovery including document management and control, witness/custodian interviews, legal research, and trial preparation and support. Christine knows how large companies conduct business and how to identify, locate, and obtain the information inside a company for use at trial.
Christine has also worked in the Rancho Cucamonga District Attorney’s office where she assisted in the gathering of evidence for trial and prosecution of cases, performed legal research, and helped manage the District Attorney’s docket of cases. Prior to her work at the D.A.’s office, she worked in a small boutique law firm that specialized in personal injury litigation.
Christine is not just a paralegal. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and her M.B.A. She knows how to work with people, identify trial themes, and then ask the right questions in order to obtain the evidence needed to bring a case to trial. She understands e-discovery, information governance at Fortune 100 companies, and how to be surgical in her approach to discovery. Christine also happens to be the best paralegal Mr. Cowper has ever worked with. Believe it.
