Mia Kossover is a case manager for Cowper Law LLP. Prior to this position, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from Kansas State University. While attending school, she worked as a Police Response Advocate for the Manhattan Crisis Center where she provided on-site crisis intervention to victims of domestic violence. Mia also worked for Kansas State University as a research assistant. This research focused on asylum seekers in the United States that have faced all types of violence and worked to aid them in their defensive asylum cases.
After earning her degree, Mia became a case supervisor for CASA of Josephine County where she advocated for children in the foster care system.
