Board Member of ReadyKids!

Megan is a dedicated partner at Cowper Law LLP, with her entire legal career focused on championing the rights of individuals against large corporations. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes a critical mass of plaintiffs to gain momentum to make a change in the industry safety standards. This is why Megan represents those who have suffered injuries associated with pharmaceutical manufacturers' failure to warn consumers of the dangers associated with their products and devices. Megan is highly organized, patient, and motivated to represent individuals (hundreds at a time) who would otherwise have a singular voice in our judicial system.

Megan is currently representing individuals who have been injured by devices recalled by Medtronic, Allergan, and Hologic. She has served on several Multi-District Litigation committees including MDL 2921- Allergan Biocell Textured Biocell Breast Implant Products Liability Litigation 2921, MDL 2100- Yasmin and YAZ (Drospirenone) Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation (discovery committee), MDL 2385 - Pradaxa (Dabigatran Etexilate) Products Liability Litigation (discovery committee), and MDL 2406-In Re Blue Cross Blue Shield Antitrust Litigation (Privilege Log Sub-committee). She also represented individual plaintiffs in MDL 2327-In Re Ethicon, Inc., Pelvic Repair System Products Liability Litigation, MDL 2436-In Re: Tylenol (Acetaminophen) Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation, MDL 2342 In Re: Zoloft (Sertraline Hydrochloride) Products Liability Litigation, and MDL 1964- In re: NuvaRing® Products Liability Litigation. Recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 in both 2014 and 2021, Megan's commitment to justice is unwavering.

She was Web Administration certified by iCONECT-XERA, enabling her to effectively manage electronic discovery-related issues and serve as a bridge between IT personnel and attorneys. Her expertise in understanding how large corporations store and manage information has been instrumental in unearthing critical documents in cases involving millions of pages of electronically stored information (ESI). What most excites Megan is the opportunity to introduce the documents in depositions and flush out the true story of misconduct by the Defendants.

Beyond her professional achievements, Megan is deeply committed to giving back to her community. Megan currently serves on the Board of ReadyKids!, an organization whose mission is to ensure every child in Escambia County, Florida is ready for Kindergarten. In addition to serving on the Board, Megan volunteers her time to a student, known as her “reading pal”. Before practicing law, Megan volunteered with AmeriCorps VISTA, focusing on obtaining corporate support for a local school in St. Louis, Missouri.

Megan is licensed in Florida, Missouri, and Illinois. Her office is in Pensacola, Florida.
